suspension questions

Maybe someone will have some insight to whats going on with my car. I have an 03 track model 350z. Every time I turn to the left I hear a popping sound coming from the front left side of the car. I put the car up on a lift today, pulled on every moving part I could find, turned the wheel, compressed the suspension....and nothing. I also here the sound when I go over speed bumps.

this might sound dumb.... but PERHAPS you migh've droped the car and the tire is somehow hits the fender from the inside on those occations (PERSONAL EXPERIENCE on my 240z) also u might want to check the shock being good if its not the supention is not being rebounded back down and ur tire hits the fenders. if you cold give us a little bit more insight on a somewhat more PRECISE sound it makes or other ocations the car makes that sound does it sound like the type of noise a messed up halfshaft on a FWD car makes or something like that that would help us give u mire feedback.

Just tyring to help

it sounds more like a broken tie rod, thats what they usually do, but it doesnt seem like that would be the case since its only a 2003

The feathering problem has gotten worse.
I think it is one of the ball joints.

check to see if your springs are seated properly. my s13 did the same thing when I switched out springs for the first time.

Engine/tranny mounts will also make a popping noise if they're loose.
