I tried the search but, for some reason its down or it cant search more than 2 words. Anyways I bought a 300zx fuel filter for my ka24e (sohc) motor and I noticed its considerably bigger than the stock one. So the question is how did you guys get the bracket to fit around 300zx filter? Can I just bend out the tabs more?

- didn't wanna try to attempt it and find out I have to leave it dangling.

just bend the tabs it will be fine

yea as posted above, just bend the tabs out alittle bit at a time until it fints snug around the 300zx filter

It's just a spring tab. Bend it out slightly.

i just shoved it into the bracket, no need to bend it.

No need to bend. Just push it in place.
