sr20det idle problem, help

The car started to idle at 1000 rpm and its driving my crazy unless i step on the brakes and turn on the heat full blast, then the rpm goes to 850 where its supposed to be. How do i fix this.

Did you adjust the iacv screw when the engine was warmed up?

it varias, if i turn the heat on, its back to normal at 850. Without the heat it a 1000K.

Your IACV is prolly just dirty have you tried looking at it to see if its dirty if it is you should clean it and see if it makes any difference.

where is the iacv. Is that part of the MAF? How do you clean it?

the iacv is on the intake mani.. if it's an s13 sr20, it's gonna be in between the 2nd & 3rd port runners.. there should be a thing with a screw on top.. that's the giveaway...

y do you guiys always adjsut the iacv??? its fucing set from factory, not ment to be adjusted by us, the idle problem is somthin else, probably a vac leak,
