another 5 speed swap question... yeah i searched

I searched and did not find a definite answer..

Anyways i converted my 89 s13 hatch to 5speed, and did an sr swap yesterday. Reverse lights and speedometer aren't working. I replaced gauge cluster and speed sensor.

What do i need to "wire" to get things working?

And pls don't give me a link to some thread i've already been to.

Pls no flames also.

Thanks

You didn't search. There's no need to blatantly lie to us.

www.google.com came up with numerous hits on the first page, including:

http://ka24development.com/transmission_swap.html

The wiring is the exact same for all 89-98 models. VSS plugs right in, reverse is hardwired.

Amazing what happens when you actually do what you say you did in the first place.

excuse me. Reading ownz you! The info for wiring your back up lights is right in my faq. On the speed sensor side its a seperate pair of wires that unplug from the auto speed sensor and plug right onto the manual speed sensor. There is no wiring that needs to be done for the speed sensor.

I have a comment from the person who knows more S-Chassis related shit than anyone I know, and the one who wrote the writeup, so I will close this lie now.

CHILDREN; simply SAYING "I SEARCHED!!!" doesn't make for a mound of shit if your question proves otherwise.
