OverHeating Problem
ok i have a KA24DE and the compresion is up.it has
ka24e pistons, Port and Polished oversized valves and springs it overheats for some reason and i cant find the problem. i checked cooleint and everything. it seemed right. |

check your thermostat. replace, flush the radiator real good, put new fluild in. should solve.
what kind of fans do you run? stock radiator?

Given, the block/headgasket etc is in good shape.
Air in System, bleed accordingly.

Have you ever replace the coolent temp sensor? The sensor between the S13and S14 are different. If you put a S13 sensor in a S14 it always read hot.
If you haven't replace the sensor then I would just do what 420sx says. Also check to make sure your headgasket is in good shape and the head. |

Do all of the above and also check that all of your hoses are tightened. Check all of them for any trickling of AF, as that is an indicator of a pressuruzation leak, which also allows for air to enter the system. If an air bleed fixes the problem temporarily, then this may be your problem.
