My cruise control light is on all the time. when I completely shut off the engine it still stays on. The cruise button isn't pressed. Why is it staying on?

Unplug it and check the power signal behind the switch, but you'll probably find the spring is broken within the switch, just get a new one.

Sorry not to be specific, I'm referring to the cruise light in the cluster. It's the HUD cluster. The light on the switch works when pressed and goes off when pressed off, it's the light on the cluster that even with the key out of the ignition is still on. (ps:cruise control has never works in the car for awhile so no way to test operation)
