Replaced my back window, dyed the top....pics... and a tint question

So today, myself along with one of my friends that owns an interior shop replaced my back window. Wasn't that bad of a job. I got the window from topsonline.com for $180 with shipping. We also used some black dye that he had laying around from a previous customer and spray dyed the whole top. Also, I got some tint from advance, 20%, and tinted the front and rear quarter windows. So, rear window is new, the top looks new, and my windows are tinted. And for my first tint job, I think I did pretty good. Overall i'm extremely happy. Here are the pics and sorry for the dirty ass car...

Now, here is my question. I want to tint the rear window but the tint shops here are saying the tint won't work all that well on the plastic. So, what do I do to tint it? I know that you can get a transparent black in a spray made by VHT that you can use. Just seems kinda skechy. I just wanted to check here before I went off and sprayed the inside of the window. Anyway, if you guys have any info, please let me know.

You can buy Pre-Tinted rear glass(plastic). I'm surprised it wasn't an option when you bought the replacement. Sadly it's the only way that won't look like shit in 0-6 months.

topsonline was out when I ordered it. And my window was pretty much about to fall out. So, I just couldn't wait to do it. There is a polish that I have been reading about on the vert forum that protects the plastic against the elements. I'll do that and we'll see how it works out.
