I was doing research on this swap a few weeks ago and came across a website that was selling R33 Crossmembers. I though I bookmarked it but it seems I didn't. I've been looking for that site but can't find it again. Anyone know the site i'm talking about? I might of found it here or on http://www.racebread.com/ Can't remmber >.<

J hot sells them sometimes for a decent price. other than that most places want to rape youup the ass for them (250-250) jhot was 80 shipped tome.

Im going to guess that you arent getting a front clip for your RB. Yes Tenchuu is rite Get it from Jhot. They might not always have it in stock but let them know you need one and they will get right on it. YOu will occasionally see them for sale here on zilvia. They go for about 100 bucks. While I am at it, you may want to consider SYKO Performance RB25DET Mounting Kit. Very very very well priced and works like a charm. PM Driftfreaq about it.

no don't PM Driftfreaq about it, is no longer working there. I use Syko stuff, use the email on their website. and yes 100-150 is a decent price for them. also JHOT is kind of a bunch of assholes sometimes, so expect that. i ask for them to order me two, the said no problem, it took a while with me checking back every week, and them saying it will be in next week, finally i call and they told me they got it in and sold them all. I ask them when they get the next ones in and they say they don't know. and that is over 3 months dealing with them.

SUMMARY: JHOT HAS THEM?? BUT ARE ASSHOLES TO DEAL WITH.
i waited for a month for them to get some in asking every weekend, then they sell them all without even telling me that they have them in and after me waiting and dealing with them for that month, then another 2 months go by and they still have not gotten any more.

Wow that sucks. Yea I was planning on going with the motor set and I plan to use the syko mounts. I guess if I need to I could try Jhot, but thatz not the website I came across. These aren't all that easy to find. You guys know any other websites? Thanx for the info by the way.

i looked for two months on ebay with no dice. just start asking every motor importer that you find on the internets if they can get them and if so how much.

search on other forums, i found a crossmember pretty easily, maybe it was luck though.

you can contact kouki_s14 for the syko kit if you're interested. He is an authorized dealer and will get you what you need. btw, his name is henry. You might want to consider a front clip. Then you dont have to worry about finding a crossmember, and you get all the other stuff that will make the install easier.

hmm.... I could get a front clip, but what i've seen so far. The front clips are more expensive, while the motorset is cheaper and still comes with the essentials for the swap. Thatz why I wanted to go with the motorset. I'm trying to stay on a low buget. When i'm ready i'll buy the mounts off Henry. I read the Thread were he was showing how he put the motor in. That was one of the things that inspired me to do the swap. Man I wish I bookmarked the website that I came across. They were selling brand new r33 crossmembers for 150. Dam i'm so stupied

Henry can get font clips at pretty decent prices. He got both mine and his from his uncles junkyard. Since youre a socal local, you may consider going this route. I dont think they cost much more than motorsets. If youd like to wait, well both be pulling our setups and selling them whole to fund a race car. if youre interested let us know.

When summer rolls around and we have some free time. We'll be doing one car at a time. The plan so far is stock ka with the possibility of going turbo in the future.

we'll be pulling it in about 2 months or so, basically we will be selling 2 plug and play S14 RB swaps with a bunch of goodies(fmic, clutch kits, boost controllers, etc). If you dont want to go that route i can help you with a front clip and Syko mounts, just let me know whenever.
