5 speed swap question

Well i just did a 5 speed on a 93 coupe and i got every thing done and i go to hook up the speedo gear. i dont know what to do i couldnt find one on my auto harness so i go to the junk yard today and cut one off a 5 speed harness and i dont know which set of wires to wire it to. if you know please help me.

You wasted your time. Both cars use the same plug for the VSS as part of the lower harness. Take your head out of your ass and try again.

Damn Russ.... you're my hero.

To the OP, the S13 VSS has a wire harnes coming out of it that hooks up to the existing auto lower harness. Basically where you unplugged the auto VSS....you simply plug in the manual one and you're set. You really shouldn't have to do ANY splicing or cutting.

And honestly this knowledge is pretty straightforward if you just simply look at the connectors. Unless you used to try to stick the square block into the round hole as a child....then you might have problems.
