Well it sounds like I have marbles under my valve cover. Just happened
to me after starting the car up today.

I am assuming that it means time for a valve job?

Marbles are located in the #1 Cylinder area...

Anyone have a diagnosis, before I try Yanking the valve cover?

Most likely it's your upper timing chain guide. Mine broke off and was just sitting there. Pull off the valve cover and remove it.
