Im thinking of getting some iridium spark plugs (densos) and im not sure how exactly.  My understading, is the spark plugs connect to the wires, so i follow the wires to the engine, and thats where the plugs are, right?  Do they screw out?  Ive been looking for a how to somewhere on the internet, no luck.  Any advice, appreciated.
Thanks guys!

Cheers!

this is one of the simpler thing to do, and in all seriousness if you dont feel comfortable with this dont do it. other than that heres the directions:
depending on what engine you have, the plugs are in different places.
on a dohc there right on top
on a sohc there on the side

follow the wires down from the distributer and find the plugs
doing only one plug at a time (thats important because you dont want to mix up wires) pull the wire straight out of the hole.
get a socket wrench, extention, and a spark plug socket
connect them all together and take out a plug and replace with the new one - just snug it! that means about a .5 turn after it stops!
put the wire back in and snap it back in
go on to the next one and when your done go for a ride

Also, slight addendum, make sure to get a spark plug socket with the rubber grabber thingy....at least for the DOHC, I think it's the same for the SOHC. And it's recommended to use silicone lubricant or something on the plug threads when you put them in...to prevent sticking, I think. Please correct me on that second part if I'm wrong, I'm not as sure about that.

make sure the engine is not hot.  If it is, the grommet is the socket can melt to the plug.

most newer plugs come gapped
i know you should never gap a platnum plug
im not sure about iridium
get a measuring tool and measure them if you feel so inclined
my car has the boch platnum +4 plugs that are ready to be installed right from the box.  a couple of other people have then too.  personally i didnt notice a diference from the stockers, but they were due to be changed

Since you are getting iridium plugs, you wont have to worry about gapping them. when you see the tip you will know why they come gapped from the factory. Also NGK has a new iridium plug out now too.
