Exclamation did I fuck something up??

replacing my headgasket and I went to take my lower timing chain off. I removed the bolt that holds the sprocket on and then realized I wasnt really ready to pull the head at this point...So I tried to put the sprocket back and it seems like its like a centimeter too low and now I cant get it to line back up...when I pulled the sprocket I kept it tight in my hand so I dont believe it jumped a link but it does seem like the sprocket is sitting lower than it was and the hole in the sprocket where the bolt goes through is just slightly lower than the hole in the head...did my chain jump? Am I fucked? someone please help

Hold the idler sprocket tight and turn the crank from below. It should catch the tooth it's off of and line back up.

So you pulled the sprocket down (off the cam) and couldn't get it back up on the cam (because the cam chain tensioner was still on, and pulled the cam chain tighter), and now it looks funny? Maybe I'm misunderstanding... Don't worry about it, even if it skipped a link, it's not bad unless you try and start the motor with it like that. Just finish taking everything apart, and try not to loose the cam chain down the hole when you do pull those sprockets out.

gsxr...I probably explained it badly I already pulled the upper timing chain that is on the cams..pulled chain tensioners cams all that, this is the lower timing chain and sprocket that goes into the head. I pulled the sprocket and went to put it back and now it wont line up

I am confused though, why are you putting it back together if you haven't pulled the head yet? Seems like you're taking more steps than you need to.

As long as you put everything back together properly, and didn't break anything; You are fine.

Just make sure when re-assembling it, that everything is put back the way you found it.
