As soon as i find my camera I'll get some pics. I put that capacitor in it about 1.5 months ago and then it broke loose causing it to come on and off. Sooo, I pulled it apart A-G-A-I-N re-soldered the capacitor and decided to put red bulbs in. Well aparently the bulbs aren't dark enough and it looks like a salmon red now. I wanted to do green but can't find any. Only red and blue. Damn......wheres is that camera?

Thanks. I got my bulbs from advance auto. I guess for now I will pull them out and color them darker w/ a red sharpie. I want that rich deep red like some grand ams or audi's.

That is amber orange.

Buy real led's. Not cheap ones, that will be the easy fix.

LED's would be nice but these are regular incandescent bulbs like the stock ones but red.

Well I pulled the hud out out and put a few coats of ford red 500' paint on them. Then popped em back in and used a combo of the blue covered bulbs with the freshly painted ones. Now that shit looks good.

I'll def put a pick of it tomarrow night and see what you all think.

I thought you said you did the HUD, that's just the cluster.

Yeah that shit looks good. I didn't put the actual hud in because mine is broke (dislays 126) with key on acc. and I didn't want to cut a hole in my perfect no crack dash.
