s14 ignition cylinder wires..clock resets and no power to radio

hey guys,

ok.heres my problem

i tried to install a push button start because it was very difficult to start my car with the hey.you'd have to move it around.blah blah blah..ok,so i tried to install it,and had to splice the green wire from the ignition cylinder.so i cut the wire completey and soldered it back together with the push start wire.well,it all didnt work,so i jsut let it be.when i turned the car on,my radio was getting no power at all.also, the clock wasnt getting enough power because you can barely see it,and it resets everytime i turn the car off.

now the soldering job is probably the worst i have done.heres some low quality pics

could this be causing the clock to reset everytime?and for no power to get to the radio?i made sure all connections were tight.my car still starts, but it takes a couple trys.

I would say to put it back the way it was and get a new key cut. I had problems with turning the key and a new key fixed it.

But if you want to have a push button, disconect the factory signal wire from the starter and put in another one wired to a switched (when in run) power wire.

It's possible that a fuse got blown.
