![]() S14 Sr20 in S14. "Professionally" swapped
![]() ![]() Oil then sprayed directly onto my T28. I hoped for the best replaced the hose and cleaned all oil from the bay. ![]() Started her up. Drove around the block, hit boost and the biggest whitish cloud came out of the exhaust. NO strange noises or smells besides that of the smell the cloud made which smelled like burning oil. Took of the Inlet Elbow and this is what I saw. ![]() On a good note: I felt no shaft play in the turbine, this image might help you get an idea of how "good" the turbo is. ![]() And because I know you all are going to ask. Yes there is oil in the intercooler. ![]() So my question is this; Where do I go from here? Do I need to replace the entire turbo, or can it be saved. Is this something anyone can do or do I need to take it to a "professional?" |
