Clutch newly installed and the fork only moves till the pressure plate teeth(1/2 way), then I'm not able to move it farther. Is this normal? I want to make sure before installing my engine.

Yeah, its a bitch to push the fork by hand, bolt the slave cylinder up and try it with the pedal.

cool thanks, so then its probably right...time to install the motor

yup John is rite. Unless you are hercules you arent moving that fork. Put in the slave and bleed it. You may have to pump the slave with your hand a bit if the prong doesnt reach the fork.
