2.25" pipes from the cat back, no resonator, ending with a MAgnaflow Street Series- 2.25" inlet, dual DTM style 2.5" tips. it's deep and throaty up to about 3500, where it just becomes a guttural roar. i love it!

That is very cool. Did you notice a difference in power or was it the same? I was thinking of going with a custom set up too.

yep, mandrel bent. there's not a huge power increase, just a little high end torque, barely noticeable. it accelerates a lot smoother... idles smoother, too.

Can you elaborate a bit more on the sounds? Does it sound like ass and "drone" on the highway when just cruising? How loud is it? And most importantly, is it ricey sounding? Like a rabid mosquito or a kazoo?

it's a deep droning sound up to like 3000, and it's not really that noticeable a couple car lengths away. inside the car, of course, it's very noticeable. when i floor it at about 3500, however, the drone goes away and it sounds... mean. and loud. like i said, it's just like this roar... not like a mosquito at all, ever. it's deep, it's smooth. not pops or anything. a nice smooth vrrooom.
