Possible New Tuner Shop in Alabama
I'm here in Birmingham now (moved from So Cali) and I'm seriously thinking of opening my own shop targeted mostly to the drifting community (selling suspension parts, engine upgrades, aero, wheels, electronics, etc.). I wish I could cater only to Silvia's since that is what I know and love, but since there are so few here, I would most likely sell parts for all types of RWD imports (Miatas, RX7s, Silvias, 350s, Supras, Soarers, etc). My question to you guys is:
Do you guys think we need a shop like this here in Alabama? (I'm looking at a location right off of Hwy 280 near Hwy 31 entrance ramp) I think that if we can get a shop here and if the shop does well, then we can get together and we can get a track opened here and draw some people to B'ham for drifting. Talledega has Nascar... We got Barber's for the bikes... Why can't we have drifting? ![]()
