T-Mobile hookup? (Plans, phones? Anything?)

I'm trying to get rid of Verizon because I've had it for over 4 years now, and I LIVE in a dead area for my carrier... Stupid I know.

My girlfriend said that sounds pretty good, PLUS she has T-Mobile so I can call her for free and stuff.

But I was wondering if anyone has hook up on T-Mobile. If so PM me with details numbers/names etc.

T-Mobile does not offer free mobile to mobile calling.

I have had t-mobile service for almost three years now. My girlfriend and I are going to be switching to "AT&T" at the end of my contract next May.

Most of those phones have not come out yet. Some of those phones may never make it to the US or Canada as well.

Scott those phones are all European market phones. The problem is two fold.
1. Due to total dumb ass idiots. That think you can get brain cancer from their cell phones, kicking and screaming about it. The FCC mandated a wattage output rating of 3.1 Watts( yes the folks at the FCC are totally un scientific dumb asses, they are regulators nothing more than bureaucrats) . Any cell phone capable of broadcasting a higher amount of radio frequency wattage is not allowed into the U.S.
2. Unlike the rest of the world your cell phones are tethered to the provider. Again this is because the providers kicked and whined to the FCC that if the phones were not regulated i.e. tied to the so called struggling providers( in the providers language) they would lose money.

You can buy a European phone and use it on a provider like any GSM phone on a GSM carrier. Though if you have a my faves plan with Tmobile . Like I do. You need a phone that has the My Faves software in it, which is an exclusive to T Mobile. By the way My Faves is pretty damn good . It gives you 5 numbers on any network that you call free unlimited calling long distance or local. This is on top of the regular minutes.
T Mobile also does have unlimited mobile to mobile ala carte for either 6.99 or 9.99 a month.
I have had Cingular aka the New ATT and their customer service bites ass . I used to sell them in fact. My Dad had Verizon, its overated. It still drops calls and like all other networks has its issues. The only thing Verizon has is a large outdated analog network in rural areas that its phones fall back on when there is no digital. I remind you this is only in rural areas. So Verizon is really not as great as their commercials claims but then again all the providers are not as good as their commercials .
I have had T mobile for the last 5 years its been good enough for me not to switch. Ya I want a Iphone lol . I am a tech geek. Though I really would not want to go back to Cingular.

i work for verizon, and just fyi, in january there will be no analog service. also, your right, it is a fall back..the market actually using the analog is less than .05% of all of our customers..granted if you actually are one of those customers, of course you will have complaints(not saying you are). overall, we have people leave, due to service, and we have people join because of service. IMO, verizon has the most broad service, and the most money into our towers. plus we have a true 3g network, in all of our enhanced data areas.
btw gsm phones are way cooler than cdma hands down, due to the global usage of gsm.

Stay away from Cingu-LIAR!!! I'm switching back to Verizon because they have the best coverage. I could talk in an elevator with them and hold a call. Cingular (the so-called new AT&T) should both be sued for false advertising. Least dropped calls my A$$!! I've had more dropped calls than anything. PLUS, when I was driving back from Vegas to LA, I had "No Network Coverage" for about 100 miles through Death Valley and it was 117 degrees out there. If my rental had broke down, I would've been SOL. And yes, I have the so-called Nationwide coverage. But to answer your question - no, I don't have the hookup on T-Mobile. Far as I'm concerned, I don't care about the different kinds of fancy schmancy phones. As long as I can talk on it without losing important calls, take pics, video record some things and play games, I'm good. Ok, so I do care about some fancy schmancy phones.
