also, i have a major grease problem on the door latches(the hook that the door latches onto), i always find the grease to end up on the side of my pants. does anyone know a good remedy to remove all or some of the grease?

In order to remedy the grease problem, wipe it off =)  Easy as that.

The idle problem is pretty easy to fix.  If your idle is low all the time, you can just adjust your idle speeed adjusting screw.  It's under the intake manifold (under meaning towards the bottom of the engine from the intake manifold).  It's a round adjustment screw.  If you are looking from the right side of your car at the right side of your engine, look below the intake manifold, and behind the oil filter a little ways.  You should idle around 650 plus or minus 50 rpm (although I prefer 750).
