Wow.

No, they are NOT the same. The S13/Z32/Q45 tension rod is exactly one inch shorter than S14/S15. It will work, but you'll have serious increased positive caster, resulting in serious alignment issues.

Guys, seriously, we knew this 12 years ago.

not being a smartass but I thought Tie Rods adjusted toe/camber what does it have to do w/ caster? and If you know how to align a car you wouldn't need to go off factory specs

i half read ur q while on the phone

tie rods do toe

tc rods do caster

upper plates do camber
as well as the eccentric bolt do camber too (on the shock)

but they do effect eachother when u change one it can change another, and/or both.

LOL, funny story...

Came around a blind turn, red light.. The curb or a car so I chose the curb. Drove the car to my shop to replace the arm and the 90 degree angle T/C rod... Only had a spare 13 rod lying around to replace it... Yeah.. That was gay. I love having my left wheel 3 inches further forward than my right one.

Bingo.

Tension

Tie

They look different in person, don't they? But since we're on it, S13 and S14 tie rods are also different, the S14 has a larger diameter rod, so that wouldn't work either.
