So was going through some of the old pics that I had when I was in Iraq. No one could believe the size of dirt devils and sand storms that we got there. We would get them this size 1-2 times a month.. Pretty crazy. The stationary buildings did not get too jacked up. Everytime they came through it would absolutely destroy our tent cities. Anyway enjoy.

awesome pics. phoenix gets sand storms like that periodically as well. They are called haboobs. though the ones in phoenix aren't generally that large.

encountered one in NAS fallon nevada but its not that big. it lasted for about 5 minutes. shit was crazy on the flight line.
