You put the oil cap back on? Maybe blown headgasket, I dunno your description makes it sound like a fairy is spraying oil on your motor or somthing. Explain it better

blown engine?

how many quarts did you put in the engine?

have you tried draining the oil, and filling it back up to the correct level?

...you may want to pay attention to basic rules of grammar next time..took me a second to realize what you were trying to explain.

Yea too much oil will hurt the motor than too little. Your probably leaking oil past seals too. Drain that sucker and add the correct amount. Oil is cheaper than a new motor.

the motor is in oil. i believe the oil is coming from the breather tube because if the leak was somewere lower it wouldnt be on the valve cover and it only spills when u give it load. i put 4 quarts maybe a little more. write know the oil level is good. every thing was good for about two weeks.

yeah bad things can happen, when you fill it with too much oil. damage piston rings, valve seals, o2 sensors. try and drain and refill like everyone above suggested, you might just get lucky. GL

Ok when its on load your getting crankcase pressure (blow-by) and its exiting through the hose and into your intake or catchtank. Chech that steel fitting on the valve cover and see if its tight or not. Then check the rubber hose and make sure your clamp is tight. Thats the only possible source from everything you tried explaining.

bad piston rings and/or valve seals add to blow-by gasses and oil flying through the valve cover breather tube

If its white smoke then thats coolant. If you cant tell if its white or blueish then my next guess is your valve seals could be shot.

I also think its time for you to run a leak down and compression test to find out the current condition of your engine.

so you mean the "t fitting" on the side of the valve cover? that shouldnt move at all.

and i dont see how the entire engine could be covered in oil by that one spot.

you may want to pop off the valve cover, take a peak to make sure nothings broken/bent/etc (like an oil squirter......ive never seen one screw up before...but you might as well check.)

Definitely too much oil. From the SR FAQ in this forum:

Quote:
Engine Oil: (with filter change): 3 1/4 qt (3.7 L)
(w/o filter change): 3 1/8 qt (3.5 L)
Don't put in more than that, bad stuff can happen (obviously).

it could be your valve seals or a bent valve or even your rings are screwed
