The 240SX has enough torque to go around. If you have the money your gonna do it eventually just get a 3: cat back.

there would be no point in getting headers right? or a down pipe? but a high flow cat and 2 1/2 or 3 inch piping would be a good start untill i got the swap right?

no point in getting headers or a downpipe (though u may be able to get an SR downpipe to fit the KA manny with some work...the KA manny has two holes and a stud, whereas the SR manny is just three studs. What I'm thinking is that you can get a bolt to go onto the one stud on the manifold, and use the KA downpipe's nuts...and go with three inch piping if you get an exhaust now, so that when you do go with the SR you get better performance. may be loud and you may lose low end power for now, but it'll be worth it.
