AGAIN AGAIN! will the JDM heads up display cluster work on my 240sx coupe? i have HUD already but its out so i want to replace it wiht a 100% WORKING JDM CLUSTER. so has anyone done this swap? does it work or would it make everything light up agaion... my lights went out wiht the HUD... you guys know. thanks!

hehe thats good... no no i was talking about just the cluster. i know that the good ol' canadians have Km/hr on their 240sxs but so do the Japanese! im sure the cluster (the guage cluster, the one with the tach, etc) should fit. theres enough wire from the HUD unit to the cluster.. but will it work? i mean the Honda guys love doing this JDM swap all the time... im not really in it for sh!ts and giggles.. my cluster isnt working so i just wanted to be cool and fix it even if its in km/hr. ah! i can get the JDM one for 120 or a USDM HUD cluster for 140... you decide.

oops yeah its two pieces. the HUD unit (displays the speed your going) and the CLuster (shows your speed in digital and has your tach, gas, etc.)

ps. the japanese dont seem to have a check engine light. and whats up with that one weird looking muffler on fire? it looks likt maybe a exhaust temp signal? hmmm... intresting.
this could be our answer to pass smog. hehe

The wierd exhaust on fire gauge as you put it is the turbo boost gauge. It won't be necessary unless you have a turbo <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

The USDM cluster has BOTH MPH and KM/H...you just turn a little knob.  The ONLY thing you should swap over when going from KA to SR is the tach.  Screw the rest of it.

Wait a minute...your cluster isn't working?  What's wrong with it?  I have feelings about your abilities to diagnose....

so the muffler on fire is the boost guage light or whatever? wow thats cool! i never knew that... but still the JDM clusters have no check engine light. haha because my check engine light goes off liek crazy on and off because of the Knock sensor... sigh. anyway so it pases smog... but not when the light goes on. bla bla ok so who has a pic of an s13 boost guage? thanks!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but S13's never had a stock boost gauge...atleast mine doesn't and I never seen a pic of a stock one. Unless you mean aftermarket gauges?
