95 Ka into 89 troubles

ok so i got involved in this swap to help someone get there car driveable the motor is a 95 KA out of my personal s14 motor ran great before i swapped an sr in, the car is an 89 hatch, the car starts but wont idle when you drive it it runs fine, i feel as if it should idle high at first start up but it doesnt, iac messed up? i had to build a sub harness to carry the rear 02 and crank sensor im 100% sure the crank is right but was having problems figuring out the 02, also the coolent temp guage took a shit changed the sensor and still doesnt work, this is all the info i have since its not actually my car and im exhausted with it but id still like to figure it out of the guy any info will help thanks
