HHO Gas Conversion anyone?
Hello recently I stumbled upon, in another forum about creating your own HHO (brown gas)...has anyone tried it with their Nissan or other vehicle? They say it can increase your Gas Mileage and better engine performance also a website saying something about.....if installed into the intake manifold it boosts up octane more.... and save alot of money in gas...I am tired of paying high pump gas in San Francisco, CA lol

I think he is taking about this stuff. Sounds interesting but there is a catch with hydrogen that keeps it from making it mainstream. It takes a shit load of energy to break the bond of the hydrogen and oxygen in water. Yes combining the two in an engine is efficient and gives you water vapor but getting the hydrogen separate is quite the challenge.

so it does work

but it seems everyone who has done this 20 years ago died a random death! meyers was killed...offered BILLIONS from oil companys... another dude went mia...he converted water in steam via hot exahust then consumed the steam aka hydrogen and fired on it...thats the best Idea I have seen,...simple and funcational... I WILL MAKE MILLIONS DOING THIS! IN NEW ENGLAND! I hope...lol... I have a performance shop I am shutting down to start this idea... if works BINGO! if not, sr swap anyone? lol... gimmie a MONTH tops...I will be back with a car running on water and gas...then hopefully just water.! you tube has mad info! you can use many different fuels to run your items..but govt and companies dont want you to see them! a magnectic motor is free power! take nanomilliamps to run... sp? pretty much a fart has more power than this needs to run! very well idea.! water will change the world for good and bad...in 50 years there will be a shortage of water and will kill us! but til then lets ride! lol... ~interesting Russ |

You need to go back to school and take some Physics and Chemistry classes. Changing a state of matter doesn't change it's molecular makeup. H20 to H.

I seen a video of a guy running it from a steam conversion I am no physics major, but my eyes seen it! fucking ran a pipe inside exhaust to convert into a gas state in which you would have to THINK! there is SOME hydrogen molecules ready to light!? I dunno! but will tell I will find out! I am cheap! and not as rich as I would like to be! and $4.00 a gallon aint helping me! SO I will try my hand at hydro locking a few engines! lol... and as for your schooling comment, even the physics forum I am on say it can't be done its IMPOSSIBLE! but it is being done! you tube bro's you tube you have it in front of you! LOOK! it is amazing! truely... also found out that if in LA you can not use the water for it is so polluted it turns into MUD!!!!! like a cake mix style mud! lol.... ~russ |

I've been doing some research on this subject for a little while and the process is quite in depth to get the car properly running. I would start by reading Stan Meyer's paper on the subject. Link

you guys realize with a powerFC and bigger injectors you can easily run E85 in your 240s??
ive been running it for a few weeks now...kick ass fuel...tunes way better than 100 octane the shop i work with here in town has been running it in TONS of their cars for years now (the majority of them are drag cars...one of them is a 9 second DSM)...weve had not one problem with it...only thing that you have to do is switch over to full synthetic oil (ethanol will wear out normal oil very quickly) |

And HHO isn't a scam. Its a far fetched idea with a lot of potential, but not a scam. Now, I didn't click any of the other links, but some 'companies' are making ridiculous claims and charging way too much for stuff that doesn't even work worth a damn. Its best left to people who have a lot of time to perfect their designs.

uh...if you want to run E85 in your s chassis you will need the following... 1) some kind of fuel computer (SAFC) or stand alone (like powerFC or V-Con) 2) adjustable FPR with gauge (dont waste your money on a NISMO...buy a aeromotive FPR with JEGS liquid filled gauge) 3) AT LEAST 600cc injectors on a SR running 7-10psi (400 on a NA KA) 4) wide band 02 sensor (for tuning purposes) 5) upgraded fuel pump (i WOULD NOT recommend a walbro...spend the money and get a Denso supra pump) 6) You have to change to synthetic oil (E85 will eat the hell outta conventional oils) basically you need to tune your injectors to run 35% richer with E85...ethanol requires 35% more fuel to run BUT is a much cleaner and cooler burn than 87-91...E85 rates at about 105 octane when tuned correctly and can handle quite a bit of power (600+ dyno proven in the shops Evo8)...i see MAYBE 18-20 knock on my powerFC DJetro when i beat on the car in 85-110 deg heat...thats no where NEAR dangerous levels (i believe on a SR if youre up around 50-60 you need to worry)...its damn near the same levels i was getting on 100 octane (and remember...i live in vegas...so that tune is DAMN good) im not sure of the milage as i forgot to plug my odometer in when i swapped out my digital cluster for my analogue one (oooops lol)...and my 02 sensor took a dump on me as well (its been dead for a while now actually...just havent felt like replacing it...will do once i order all my new head stuff after the stim check comes in the mail w00t)..im pretty sure its CLOSE to what i was getting on 100 octane |

I was trying for some time to get a 2.5L Turbo Diesel from a AU/UK Pathfinder. 247ft/lbs. 187hp. Couldn't find an importer.

Natural gas is waaaaay less potent than gasoline, or even diesel. It might be $.70/gallon, but if you need 5 times as much to make the same amount of power, and can only carry 10 gallons, it's just a hassle.

so wait, you can convert your 240 to natural gas, but its not as powerful as gasoline? i dont understand do you still need 5 times as much natural gas as gasoline? how much do conversion kits go for?
