For basic bolt-ons (injectors, maf upgrade) and stock internals on my red top with this turbo (hks GT2510) for $330 is it worth it, will my stock internal hold? Or would I rather go with a s15 bb turbo?

if the turbo is good, I'll buy it for that price. hks turbos are amazing. as far as I can tell they are just gt series dual ball-bearing turbos with inconel exhaust wheels, but the one i had spooled so amazingly fast (gt-ss), I'm still disappointed with myself for selling it (especially since I bought it and sold it so cheap). I would hold the throttle to where the boost gauge showed zero psi at 3500rpm, and as soon as i blipped it, the gauge instantly showed full boost (11psi at the time since I was still on stock maf and injectors) about as fast my foot moved. It was so cool I used to take friends for rides just to wow them with the boost response.

also, i doubt that turbo is going to be much bigger than a t28 (otherwise known as a gt2560r) so that shouldnt be a concern. check hks website vs. garrett's for exact size differences.

both s15 spec r and hks gt2510 are pretty same.
they both possible to reach about 300HP with a good tune on stand alone like power fc.
if the condition of hks gt2510 is good i would buy it because first it's t25 so you don't have to worry about inlet and out let or have to buy an adapter, second i never saw s15 spec r in working and near to good condition sale around $330.

How can you even tell if its an authentic HKS turbo if its missing its tag?
