Hi everyone, i tried searching for this problem but to no prevail of a solution.

So this is my situation...about 4-5 months ago i purchased a set of stance GR+ and installed them into my car. Since then i haven't adjusted anything other then the dampening bolts located at the bottom of the front struts and top of the rear. Today i set out with the objective of being lower. I proceeded with adjusting the bottom sleeve of the rear passenger side strut and everything went smoothly. As i transitioned over to the driver side strut and was tightening the sleeve to lower the car the threads seized up. I completely took off the sleeve to see if there was anything in the way and there i noticed inside the sleeve about 5-10mm below where the threads ended there were bumps in the metal resembling bubbles. i tried sanding out the bubbles but after a few hours of effort i gave up after trying every 20 minutes to tighten the sleeve on past those bubbles. i was using 80 and 180 grit sandpaper. i also thought that using something to bore out the sleeve below the threads or somehow getting rid of the threads on the strut itself might work. but i didn't know if that was a safe thing to do. The threads seem to be in good condition and i have not damaged them in any way.

Could this be a defect that stance would be willing to take care of? or will i be able to fix it myself...I would prefer to do it myself, if possible, because i want to get it taken care of and be lower asap! i haven't checked with stance yet because i finished pretty late so no one would be there to answer at this time.
