i'm guessing this fabric would be coated to be waterproof. probably more of a rubber or convertible canvas end product. how else would you drive it in rain? i'm guessing stains wouldn't really happen...

You guys are close-minded, it's the technology not the ugly car that is cool. Imagine the the weight reduction possibilities, ease of color change, and think about how easy your car would be to work on if you could take all the body panels off in 2 hours. The headlight design is cool, it's the doors that screw the whole concept up.

I bet that with some tweaking and such, this kind of design could become one of the most energy efficient vehicles out there. The "skins" could probably allow ridiculous aerodynamics, and weight reductions...

what if you get a what we call in the current painted bodied world a paint chip? what do you do then? patch the cloth or completely re-wrap it before it spreads and tears a huge hole?
