So I go to the Compton AT&T store @ 0715 expecting to buy an iphone, about 35 people ahead of me. My thinking was that there were going to be at least 50 phones for the store being that it's the biggest one east of the 110. Well doors opened at 8, turns out the store only had 30 of them. after 3 hours I pre-ordered my phone but I can't even get it till it arrives from their warehouse which won't be for 3-5 days (paid $15 for express shipping)

does anybody on these forums work for at&t and have some info as to when new shipments arrive?

its not worth it i read that there's a lot of problems with it

1.) it's just a phone, not a way of life, so why don't you sit back and concern yourself with something that actually matters. at least now you don't have to deal with activation issues

Actually I really do want/need one, right now i have a pos razr with a broken front screen and a 30gig ipod with a fat ass leather case that a pain in the ass to carry in my pocket. So if i can get rid of them both why not?

not so much crying as it is frustration...

i know it's materialistic but it can really help me out a lot in day to day activities. @ work i can watch videos or surf the web at lunchtime, when i'm out sometimes you need to find a spot to go chill..... but it blows that i have to wait

have the 3g phones been jailbroken yet?

from what i heard that they completely fixed that with the 3g iphones. so you have to pay for all your 3rd party apps and they HAVE to be lisenced with Apple or else they will not work... thats shitty... i have a 16gig iphone (non-3g) and the only reason why i got it was because my boss got it for me. but if it were my own money blackberry all the way...
