Leaky Injector

Spun bearing on Rod #3 on my S14 Sr20det and the crank is not repairable. Its hard to find bottom end S14 that has a crankshaft in good condition so if the S13 does work or is the same...I figure it may be easier to find one of those. Thats my dilemma. |

i'd still suggest you get the block line bored once you get another crank.
on a good note, i'm finishing up an s14 sr24det (stroker) at the shop this week and his stock crank is fine so if ur interested i can ship you that. gimme a call at the shop tomorrow Dave @ Lethal Injection Motorsports 770-343-9969

Will do. I am interested. From all my searching it seems that the 8 counter balanced crankshafts are all the same for the Sr20det.
The machine shop has the long block broken down. Im telling them to hot bathe it and rebuild it from ground up. the eagle rods and wiseco pistons survived the bearing. The head starved for oil and the head is done in the cam journals but i have located another head. Fun Fun Fun..... being this happened with less than 1000 miles on the rebuilt engine. Needless to say that shop isnt doing this build. Ill call you tomorrow. Thanks a ton. Quote:
