I pulled my filthy KA motor last night, and the SR is sitting in it's new home as I write.  I spent a lot of time cleaning things while the motor was out.  It is a LONG way from running, longer than I thought.  Ask me and I'll go into more detail later, but here are a few or the issues that’ll need to be addressed before I’m driving this thing.  One AC line will have to be re-done, it’s in the way of the PS pump bracket and can’t be bent any further without breaking.  I’m using the original AC compressor (because the SR compressor was damaged in shipping) which completely bolted up to the SR bracket, every bolt.  Only problem is that the pulley is about ¼ inch too far in.  I’m gonna see if I can space it out somehow (antbody got an SR compressor just in case).  I’m also using all the original power steering components, not the SR stuff, and everything is fitting just fine.  I’ll have to have a driveshaft made to fit the 6-speed, exhaust done, intercooler piping finished, radiator crossover tubing, and most of all, WIRING.  I’m doing a stand-alone computer for tunability, but am retaining the OEM ECU for the non-motor items, and it is a lot of wiring.  That’s about it.  I’ve got some questions for you all, but I’ll post them separately so that they’ll hopefully get read.  Let me know if you want me to comment on anything in particular.
