Options for aftermarket turbo manifold on rb25

So I've been looking to do a turbo upgrade on my rb but i have run into a wall when trying to find an aftermarket manifold. All i have found are either the $200 or so ss autochrome ebay ones, or $2000+ full race twin-scroll manifolds. I cant seem to find a midgrade one like you can find for sr's. So basically i just want to know what manifolds people on here are running when they upgrade to a bigger turbo

Here is my setup right now, mostly stock besides the greddy intake mani and sard fpr

Get the cheap shit, Brace it and flex pipe it.Then come back a year later and laugh at all the people that said "you get what you pay for". 562hp sr20det ,gt35-r ,aem-u, mahle pistons, eagle rods and a lot more expensive shit. been going strong for 2-1/2 years now with a 120 dollar e-bay top mount manifold. moral of the story is I'm not a cheap ass I just put the money in the RIGHT PLACE!!!!!

If you want to go bottom mount, Advance Torque Motorsports in Australia have a pretty nice knock off of the HPI manifold. I ordered it about a week ago, so when it comes in, I will be happy to post some pictures and give some impressions.

This is the Aussie manifold.
Advance Torque Motorsport

This is the HPI manifold they copied.
HPI Stainless Exhaust Manifold RB20 RB25

Good luck looking. Also, someone was selling an HKS cast bottom mount manifold in the FS section last week. Let me know if you want to see more about the Aussie manifold.

Yeah, there don't seem to be alot of mid-price top mount manifolds. But I wanted to keep it bottom mount since it's a DD and don't want to go too big on the turbo anyway.

There was a twin turbo rb manifold on ebay last week. Thats alot of extra work, but would be pretty cool considering it was a t2 flange so you could use the rb26 turbos. I'd post the link, but I dont think I can.

I believe the no ebay links rule only applies if you are selling somethin on ebay yourself.

I'm using a twin scroll top mount i got off of ebay from a seller called nozz performance or somethin like that. Had shipped it all the way from thailand.

Of course I had to move the wastegate runner, I'm using a holset hx35 with a 9 cm housing and it clears the covers barely.

I am missing two exhaust studs so I have a big leak, so I'm hoping the flange isn't warped but I'll see

what turbo are you planning on running? If the bottom end isn't built you might not need a manifold to get to the boost levels that the bottom end can take. Plus stock manifold will give you better midrange. When i upgrade the turbo on my Rb25 i plan on keeping the stock exhaust mani and using the ATP 3076r, but my bottom end is built.

Not trying to steal the thready, but I am in the same situation. I was going to run a GT3076R on my low mounted HKS manifold, however it has a T4 flange, and Garrett only offers the T4 in a 1.06 A/R, which I think will be too "laggy". I have since moved on to looking for a top mount manifold for my HX35, which is becoming a problem as well. It is either $200 crap or $1500-2000 works of art. Something of good quality for like $600-700 would be nice.....

Any ideas.....

I was thinking S-tec, but the don't offer a T3 flange. Could I cut off the flange and get a T3 flange welded on?

The manifold I bought was around $400 ish. If I wouldn't have gotten the nozz manifold i would definitely get an stec and have a t3 flange welded on.

Wow, that looks bad! Do you think that changing from the T4 to T3 flange is going to be a straight forward task for a welder? If so, I think the S-tec might be the way to go. Is there anyway to contact them on this forum?

How hard would it actually be to cut the T4 divided flange off and weld a T3 divided flange in place. I think the S-tec manifold looks good, but my HX35 is a T3 divided, and I am not using an adapter.
