sohc to dohc HELP!!

first time doing a swap my self. i got the motor put in but no spark , .... so if any one is willing to come over and help figure out the problem let me know..ill pay for your time. need this car running soon.... i also have 2 clips that i have no idea where they go to.

i know for a fact that the last one has nothing to do with you not getting spark. i believe thats a sensor that goes somewhere by the intake manifold (on top)

also does it matter if the dash clip is not connected(next to the ECU)? also im using the alternator from a sohc withe the wiring harness. does thaat matter?

Are you using the SOHC ignition coil? (you need the DOHC as it has an extra plug vs. the SOHC)

use the wire colors and search through the wiring diagrams in FSM. u can alwayz trace the unknown plugs that way. GL

What color are the wires in those two plugs?

The dash plug has the start signal wire (orange) so it has to be connected for the ECU to read it.

the clip near the starter is a 2 wire clip. with thick wrapin. the other is next to the fuse box 4 wire clip. theres 3 clips already plugged to the fuse and 1 to to th ALT. i dont remember the colors right now

What color are the wires? That's all we need to know.

If you're using a SOHC lower harness the 2pin plug is probably a pair of brown wires, that's the power steering pressure switch. Not needed.
