Thumbs up 2003 Derbi GP1 Racing scooter. Pick up in San Diego Only! ($1200 OBO)

Here's the basics, it's made by Derbi, a company from Spain. The motor is made by piaggio, Italy. Is goes 60+ MPH easy with very fast acceleration due to it's super power to weight ratio. It can also carry a passenger in the rear w/o losing much performance. I have dyno charts from europe that map these at 15-22 HP depending on the setup. Over $3500+ in retail price, but i'm pricing it to sell. Very quick daily driver, great for running around in the city quickly w/o getting stuck in traffic all day. It's still registered as a 49cc, insurance is about $200 a year for it. Comes with title, documents, and spare/stock parts. The only bad thing about it is a few stratches and cracked tail light lense from shipment. Units show in KPH but it also shows MPH as well!

-Doppler racing airbox
-17.5mm Delorto carb with auto choke (Up-jetted)
-Reed valve inducted, Malossi Carbon fiber reeds
-MHR (Malossi Hyper Racing) variator kit and 70cc big bore cylinder (Aluminum cylinder and piston 13:1 compression) 91 octane only.
-Michelin Semi Slick racing tires (comes with a brand new spare)
-13 inch wheels
-Hydraulic brakes front and rear, Sloted and drilled
-Piaoli Racing suspension
-Steel braided brake lines
-Water cooled, front/side mounted radiator
-Oil injection system (Agip Italian oil used, same oil recommended by ferrari)
-Electronicly controlled transmission air cooling
-Electric start + kick start
-1000+ miles on motor parts, 2500+ miles on frame.
-12v power supply in glove box, for charging cell phones or can power other items with an invertor. I powered a boom box at the beach from it before.
-Under the seat trunk
-Radiator fill cap, gas fill cap, and oil fill cap and located under the seat.
-New battery
-Tinted headlights yellow
-Side kickstand, center stand eliminated

It has a Metrakit SP Exhaust, but the silencer broke off so i'm gunna order a new exhaust before selling it. It's loud like a rotary right now.. You can hear it over a airplane

Here's a video of another Piaggio powered scooter.
