I need help... Anyone in the so cal ie area

I am having trouble getting my trans back in place,
the input shaft is in but there is about an inch gap between the trans and block.
i made sure my flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate where straight with the alignment tool..
i have tried turning the gear that goes to the driveshaft and nothing..
if anyone is close to Riverside, CA i would greatly appreciate some help..
lmk we can work out some sort of deal.. cash or parts
