so, I figured I had a parasitic draw so I went through and tested all the fuses. Nothing changed untill I pulled my horn fuse out. Suddenly the current dropped substantially. I have installed an aftermarket hub over the summer and had issues with the metal ring (S13) touching the metal on the hub. But I played with it and ended up find the sweet spot where the horn would work perfect whenever I pressed it.

That being said, why is my horn using/taking so much current?

it's weird how when I put the fuse in, the horn draws current...almost as if it is being constantly pressed, even though it isn't. Yet it still functions proper.

Short circuit? check the wiring diagram and see if anything else uses that fuse.

thats because its not your horn.

you've got another problem. check your charging system.

better yet, have a pro do it. you need knowledge to properly diagnose these things.

make, and model.... look at the fsm and see what else is on that circuit. Then disconnect or disable that, or those. leaving your horn connected. Then trace the wiring for those things that still cause a parasitic drain. You may find out it's still your horn giving you problems, but it the process that makes it all beautiful!

unplug one of the horns from the bumper by disconnecting the ground plug. it might just be one of your horns that is bad. try that with both and if it still pulls its most likely the horn button and the wiring for it.
