i know im probably gonna get flamed for asking this but whats the difference between running a bov and no bov with compressor surge and what exactly is compressir surge?

this is like the 5th thread about this in this month only! if you search it has to appear in the first page even!

to put it simple, bov vents the air that is "left over" when you close let go of the throttle between shifts... atmosferic to the air and recirculated mostly after the MAF... no bov just lets the air stay inside the piping and the blades "cut" the air making that "flutter" sound (some say its the blade spining backwards or something like that, read a bit on it you will find both explanations with more info...)

ive tried a thousand times to explain this to people and they just don't understand this... that's the reason i say "some people say its the blade spinning backwards..." i just gave up let people believe whatever they want... as long as they know it does minimun damage if not done constantly like getting on/off constantly on the throttle...
