Altima Fan Install w/ Mishimoto Radiator S14

I know this topic has been covered to death, but I've searched around and idk what I'm doing wrong.

SO I picked up a '95 altima dual fan setup from a junk yard, and tried to drop it in... its' like wayyyyy too wide. SO I whip out my dremel and start trimming away at the shroud. It totally doesn't clear the a/c lines on the pass side and the a/c and power steering lines on the driver's side. I relocated the power steering line so that the fan clears on the drivers side but it still hits the a/c condenser (? - dunno what its called... round metal thing) on the passenger side. I got the shroud trimmed to the point where it clears fairly well, but the fan blade hits the a/c parts on the passenger side. Clearance is maybe 1/4" and if anything shakes it hits...

Anyone have pics of their altima fan install?

Im guessing you have a KA. In my 91 SR all i had to do is cut the battery tray a little and notch of the bottom side portion if the the fan surround not the shrowd. And also i was only able to bolt in one side of the the fans completly and the other side sits firmly on the battery tray. Obviously i don't have AC and i have a Koyo Rad but i think you might run into the same problem once you move the AC crap out of the way. Im at work right now but i can take pics when i get home in about 2 hours. You might have a a s14 tho and then im not sure what you have to do.

I hacked up my fan shroud but have no issues, I still have A/C and everything in place the way it used to be.

I have Altima fans in my car

hey clear both AC lines, and PS lines. Gotta get crafty with the dremel, and they'll fit.

The bottom poles don't line up but who cares. I attached the top to OE bolt locations through the altima fan. Had to redrill and trim, but came out super nice. (Gallery :: Engine Bay :: IMG_1898 and you can see what I did)

If I had a stock radiator OR no a/c OR both... it would fit no problem. The problem occurs having a fat radiator + a/c lines....

and yes it's a KA-T setup I'm doing... shouldn't matter SR or KA... that part of the engine bay is going to be the same iirc.
