Well, about a week after curing my 93 S13 HB's front suspension clunk with a dose of two purple poly TC rod bushings, the noise came back, but slightly different. So I looked underneath the front end to find that one of the bolts holding the right-side anti-roll bar bushing bracket on had separated itself from the vehicle.
Now I gotta replace the bolt. No problem, right? Well, I spoke to two different Nissan dealers about it, and neither one had the bolt available for sale, nor could they look up the specifications on the bolt.
So, I seem to have two options. First, I could ask the fine guys and gals at Zilvia if they happen to know the length, bolt diameter, and thread pitch of that front anti-roll bar bracket bolt. Or, I could drive down to the hardware store, jack up the front of the car, crawl underneath, remove the same bolt on the opposite side (assuming it'll budge), and take it in to match with a new one while somehow managing to not pizz off the store owners or other customers for mechanicin' in a public place. Option #1 seems much less of a pain. So, do you know?
