getting a new dd in a couple months, what would you choose
i have a mazdaspeed 3, thing has been a headache and i have a lemon law case going on right now which my attorney assures me i will win, and i am getting a buy back. i will probably get about 18k back.
i am done with new cars, not just now but probably until i am very very rich, if that day ever comes, and i also realized i love cars from the 90's, probably because that is when i grew up and got into this thing. right now the cars i am looking at getting are: 1. s14 with a vq35 swap. the place that does these swaps is a mile from my house, s14 with a sylvia front end conversion is maybe my favorite looking import of all time that isn't exotic, 300bhp in that body is about exactly what i want, it also has good mod potential, pricey, but good, and even with the stock engine i'd be happy as a dd, should get good gas mileage, be pretty reliable and easy to service. 2. 300zx tt. pain in the ass to work on, not a HUGE fan of the looks but do sorta like them. advantage is that it is extremely reliable, my old roomate had one i helped with the engine swap, they sound incredible with a good exhaust, very nice interior, tons of aftermarket potential. 3. s2000- newest choice. the best car i have ever driven as far as i am concerned, and that includes the new jag xkr, 911, boxster s, s4 and several others (besides my s13 of course). only two seats though, no power to be made in the aftermarket without fi, and the people i see driving it look annoying, lol. the s14 is really leadng the way for me right now, but is there anything i should know about them, any problems to look for. same goes for the vq. s2000 i have no worries about it's about the most reliable performance car you can find. 300tt its damn hard to find a good example. all these cars cost roughly the same. what do you guys think? |
