balance with forged pistons?

i searched with no luck and my question is. if i put a set of cp forged pistons with stock rods will i have to have the rotating assembly balanced? has anybody gone without it? what were the results.

if you have the motor apart already might as well get it balanced. i didnt say RE-balanced...for a reason. stock sr and probably KA, cant say i have experience with it, balance sucks.

why CP? go mahle or go home

No Love for Wiseco's?
No Problems with mine

Yeah get it all balanced bring'em the bearings, rods, pistons and rings, I also gave them my crank pully and OS Giken and they balances all that too.

You'll notice a big cut down in vibration through out the RPM's

Aaaannnnyyyytime you can balance the reciprocating assembly (up and down = pistons, rods, crank) you need to, and balancing the rotating assembly (around = pulley, clutch on top of rotating) it's a nice bonus.

This is huge with bikes lol, as you can imagine (vibrations hurt traction a lot). I've seen balances to the 1/100th of a gram (piston/rod/wrist pin) on Superbike motors - I did my gsxr1000 Superbike motor as close as I could, by the end I was using a fine metal file lol.
