A while ago I mis-shifted on my S14 SR and spun the engine so fast that it broke 6 of my 8 rockers. Well I knew that there was more done to the engine than that. Once I got the head off I saw that I had only bent two valves. There was very little marks on pistons 2 and 4. I wasn't able to see and visible craks or damage. Is is possibly that I can re-use these pistons. I don't plan on re-usign them but I just need to hear a definate explanation from someone else. Also can anyone recoomend a good set of pistons.

Shouldnt be too much of a problem.. My friend did that on his DET and it is still running to this day. It happens on DSM's all the time and they dont seem to have issues. I would raise those two pistons to TDC cover the rest of the motor and hit the areas with a dremmel sand roll to make sure there are no high spots or burs that could come loose..

I am going to get my rockers cryo treated and get rocker arm stoppers (dont know if I need them for GTiR head though)

the dents are very small....i will bring it to a machine shop to have them check everything out......
