What can happen if I keep the OEM recirculation valve located on the sidemount intercooler and my hks ssqv bov ?

In e very manual, they suggest to remove the old one, but I would like to know why and if it's really necessary. It's going to be on a stock 7psi setup.

My friend who sold me the sidemount had two bov and his blitz worked perfectly.

if you keep the stock bov, the aftermarket would be pointless. But why run two in the first place? pull it off and block it off. simple
