Can anyone explain to me why it is recommended that Z32 2+2 cables are for the S13 while the R33 cables are for the S14?

I am asking because i mistakenly bought R33 cables for my S13, but i am puzzled as to why they are to tight once installed in the car. At this point i want to just modify the cables i have instead of ordering another set.

Yes I've searched, Yes i have read the Definitive 300zx brake swap.
