GT35R with housing options - SoCal- $900 obo **Price DROP**
I'm re-posting because two people have now failed to make a payment in any sort of reasonable time, and also failed to keep up a good communication to explain why.
I'm willing to take offers because I want this gone, so offer away if you're willing to pay! Located in Los Angeles and soon transported to San Diego: This is a perfect condition dual ball bearing GT35R garrett turbo. I bought it off of another 240sx driver like myself a few months ago when I was planning to upgrade my turbo kit ![]() The guy I bought this turbo from was daily driving a KA24DE-T 2.4L engine and didnt need it anymore. He said he had put about 250 miles on it before realizing it wasnt what he wanted for his daily driver. He dropped down to a GT28RS for great spool. Currently, and as pictured, it comes with a .70A/R compressor housing and a .58A/R turbine/exhaust housing. Its a T3 5 bolt turbine/exhaust housing like the ford style, also run on EVOs and WRXs i believe. .58A/R is the standard turbine housing size, as it allows for a reasonable balance between huge HP numbers and quick spool. I also have a T4 .82A/R turbine housing available. This too is a genuine garrett housing purchased from ATP new. Its a 3 inch v-band option, but I also have an adapter that converts the 3 inch v-band to the T4 four bolt downpipe flange and a v-band clamp for sale. As is with the 5-bolt .58A/R turbine housing, i'm looking for $900 obo If you want the v-band .82A/R turbine housing, which cost $290 new and has not been used or installed, I'll do $1050 obo (I can throw in the adapter and the v-band clamp for $50 as well if needed) pictures here: Pics of the GT35R hit me up by e-mail, call, or text message, that will be fastest [email protected] [email protected] 619-922-2288 feel free to hit me with any questions and dont be afraid to throw me offers. the two housing options that I have right now are this:
1) T3 5 Bolt (ford/wrx/evo style) turbine housing that is .58 A/R so coming from the turbo manifold its a T3 connection, and going to your downpipe its a 5 bolt connection that a standard A/R, should net around 400-450 on a KA depending on internal mods. I've seen a friend of mine hit 475 in the useable spectrum but he had a fully built head. 2) T4 3 inch V-band turbine housing that is .82 A/R (with an optional adapter that goes from V-band to the GT T4 4 bolt downpipe connector) so coming from the turbo manifold its a T4 connection, and going to your downpipe you have the option of a 3 inch v-band connection or a GT T4 4-bolt connection (essentially a 4-bolt that has a 3 inch internal diameter) this is more for a track or drag based powerband. it will hit much higher hp #s (between 475 and 600, depending on engine mods) but it will be later in the powerband. usually more along the lines of a drag racer or big open course race where you can keep it up in the higher rpm most of the day. any other questions feel free to let me know. |
