Head work, list of parts

First head work for me.

oem rocker arms
bc valve springs/retainers
hks cams step 1
oem in/ex valve stem seals - usually done with any head work, yes?
bc valves in/ex
supertech valve guides in/ex - Do I need new ones?

Am I missing something or is this it? Not making a 9000rpm head or anything special. Not porting just cleaning, decking and replacing some parts. Do I need a thicker headgasket to make up the difference after decking(noob)? Would I need to replace the valve guides? Plus I read from enjukuracing that there is a special procedure in replacing the valve guides which only a shop can do.
