Is there an easy noticable way to check for ABS on the 89' 240sx?
I'm buying new rotors and there are ABS and non ABS rotors for the 89'

pop the hood and see if there is an abs pump there. And also just because its abs doesn't always mean you have abs calipers. I have a ABS s14 and when I first bought the car I went to change the brake pads. Turns out they put non-ABS calipers on my ABS car.

Most likely your 240 is non-ABS. Its very rare for the earlier 240sx to have ABS.
