![]() Did some searching in the forum, no one really has it.
Completed swap of 97-98 SR20det (japanese )into a 95 240sx (US spec). Does anyone have a color coded diagram for each wire to change from the sr20det harness to the US 95 240sx. What power harness do I use (alternator, starter, etc)? US or Japanese? What clips need changing? from SR harness to US harness (vice verus) a color coded diagram for each wire to be changed would really help. thanks ~Joe~ |

First of all, thats not even the right url, and seccond there isnt any info there about a kouki install into a zenki S14.
The kouki harness and ecu are a bit different, I'm not sure exactly what needs to be changed. |

The FSM on here is for a zenki S14. For the kouki S14s you just have to go out and buy the FSM..which if you're planning on doing wiring yourself, you _will_ need.
I did the zenki S14 SR wiring myself, and pretty much all that was involved was the F4->F3 connector conversion. Ref the manual, match the wires, be ready for a lot of mistakes on both ends (there were at least 10 miscolored wires on the Canadian 240sx manual I got), solder the 40 some odd wires, extend the mafs plug about a feet, and pray to god that everything works. I'm currently at the praying to god part (going to turn my key on Saturday). Oh yeah, the wiper amp & motor plugs have to be reconfigured, too. As for the transmission harness, swap the sensors out from the 240sx trans into the SR trans, then use the 240sx harness. It'll make life a lot easier. Since the S14 kouki motor is not a different chasis, I don't believe there is any difference in the procedure, but I may be wrong. |
